- Players will learn how to play timpani, snare drum, cymbals, samba drums, xylophone and more.
- The percussion course runs each afternoon from 2 to 4.30pm for the first three days. On the final day percussion tuition will take place in the morning followed by an afternoon concert for parents to attend. Each day our percussionists will join the chamber music students in extra activities - eg: sport, swimming, orienteering etc - then they will have an evening meal, followed by a nightly informal concert.
- The percussion course would suit students who have Grade 2 or equivalent in any instrument. Applicants should have a good level of sight-reading and should be a minimum of age 9.
