If a player cannot attend a rehearsal, it is essential that parents email concert@dyo.ie or send a text to 086 204 1662 in advance with acceptable reason, otherwise the player will be marked as absent and could lose his/her place in the orchestra.
CHEWING GUM AND USE OF MOBILE PHONES DURING REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE IS NOT PERMITTED. DRINKS AND BISCUITS ARE PROVIDED DURING BREAKS.
Players are required to sign in to rehearsals. This helps rehearsal day run smoothly and emphasizes the importance to players of attending rehearsals to maintain their place and to support the other players in the orchestra.
