Running a youth orchestra involves significant costs, including rehearsal spaces, sheet music, professional tutors and conductors, transportation for performances, and financial assistance for families where cost would otherwise be a barrier.

Support an Access DYO Scholarship
Over the past four decades DYO has inspired thousands of young musicians to meet, play and perform to the highest standards of individual achievement. By encouraging and fostering a love of ensemble playing, the dedication required to learn an instrument is rewarded with the fun and joy of meeting other young musicians. We want to make sure that young people from all backgrounds can unlock their full potential at DYO.
A donation of €1,000 could support a musician on their DYO journey for one year by covering the cost of tuition, concert tickets, special events and a national tour.
