DYO Chamber Music Day

DYO are delighted to once again introduce our Chamber Music Day. This is an exciting opportunity for young people to have a very personalised musical experience. Chamber groups consist of an average of 4 to 6 young people who will take part in two coaching sessions during the course of the day. Each group will have their own individual tutor who will work with them for the entire duration of the day. 

They will learn the essential techniques of chamber music. Groups will be formed and music chosen according to age and ability. We also invite musicians who have already formed their own chamber group to enroll together. We welcome applications from players of strings, wind, and brass instruments.   

The day will run from 9.30am until 3.30pm, when there will be a short concert for parents which should end at approximately 4.15pm.

Applications are welcomed from DYO and non-DYO players.
